Conference Overview
State of the Coast (SOC) is the largest statewide conference of its kind, providing an interdisciplinary forum to exchange timely and relevant information on the dynamic conditions of Gulf Coast communities, environments and economies. This year’s conference is hosted by the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana in partnership with The Water Institute and the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority.
The theme for SOC 2025 is Our Changing Coast. For the people who attend SOC, change is a big part of their work, their research and their lives. Some conference-goers are focused on slowing change. Others may look at ways to adapt to it. All are aware that it is inevitable. We look forward to seeing how this theme is reflected in your proposals.
How to sponsor or exhibit
Sponsor or Exhibitor Details
Sponsoring or exhibiting is easy. Simply have the following information ready before filling out the form below:
Organization name, organization category (academic; engineering; government, local; government, state; government, federal; nonprofit; professional/trade group; other), name of primary representative, email address, phone number, website, address, logo (gold sponsors only)
Logo
All images must have at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) resolution. Image dimensions must be at least 5 inches by 5 inches. We prefer vector EPS files, but will accept Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, .jpg, .tif, or .png files if they meet the criteria stated above. Keep in mind that vertical or stacked logos work better on signage than longer horizontal logos.
Payment
For payments of $2,500 and less, pay by credit card in the designated area of the form below. For payments over $2,500, select “send me an invoice” in the form. CRCL will send an invoice. Payment must be by check or ACH and received prior to booth selection in 2025.
Note: While we aim to be inclusive for SOC 2025, we reserve the right to deny your request and refund your payment if we determine that your organization is not a suitable fit.

⇨ How do I download the sponsor prospectus?
To download the prospectus from Issuu, click the download icon (represented by a down arrow) near the bottom of the document viewer.
⇨ How are booths selected?
Booth selection will take place on a first-come, first-serve basis in order of paid sponsorship level. Nonprofit exhibitors will be assigned.
⇨ Can I bring additional people to staff my exhibit booth?
Yes, but all exhibitor staff must be registered to attend the conference. Registration must be completed by May 19, 2025.
⇨ What does the booth space include?
Each booth measures 10 feet by 10 feet and includes an 8-foot-tall pipe and drape backdrop, and 3-foot side walls. The booth package includes a 6-foot skirted table and two chairs. If you need additional amenities, you can order them through Freeman event services or bring your own. An exhibitor packet with more details, including pricing for add-ons, will be provided in fall 2024.
⇨ What is the cancellation policy?
You must submit written notification of intent to cancel prior to February 28, 2025, to receive a refund of 50 percent of the total sponsorship level.
