Apply for a Community Scholarship to SOC 2025
There are opportunities for community members to have their registration fees waived for State of the Coast 2025. It is the planning team’s desire that community scholarships reduce or eliminate any financial barriers that would otherwise prevent key coastal stakeholders from attending SOC.
Whether you’re a community organizer, an artist exploring our changing coast or a resident interested in deepening your understanding of coastal issues, you are welcome to apply. (If you’re a student, please visit the student scholarships page.) Extra consideration is given to applicants who have submitted a program proposal and have been invited to present at SOC. However, presenting at SOC is not a prerequisite for applying for a scholarship.
Click the button below to apply for a community scholarship. You may fill out the application for yourself or on behalf of someone you wish to nominate. Scholarships for one-day registration and three-day registration are available.
Applications are due January 17. Decisions will be announced in February.
